One Shot

My subject for my one shot assignment is going to be the Lenten crosses that have been placed around campus. I want to find the most interesting point of view of these crosses using the sunlight.

Summer . . . in March?!

In the spirit of the warm weather, I thought I would share a photo I took of my new favorite frozen treat!

Accidental Light

So last week in class we learned about light and different types/uses of it. This picture is the first of many to come from my vacation this week. This photograph was meant to be of something else, but turned out as this. I had my camera set to auto and it set itself to a longer exposure, I moved the camera, it caught the light and this is what happened, pretty cool if you ask me.

Work in Progress

So for class we have to recreate artwork through photography, here is my attempt, but it still needs some work:

My Interpretation:

Spotlight on . . . . Pineapples!

Spongebob may live in one, but I chose to photograph them instead in preparation for my impending Caribbean voyage!
