So here is the photo I took for my one shot. After taking it, I realized that the light post behind it is kind of distracting and that I should have shot so that the cross blocked it. Also, shooting with the sunlight right in the center faded out the color on most of the picture. I chose to desaturate the picture and make it B&W because I think that it gives the cross more impact
Because I really enjoyed this subject, I took some addition shots. I bumped up both the aperture and the shutter speed so that I could fully capture the sunlight shining through the cross. I also chose to shoot directly into the sun instead of having the cross block it. I hope you like it!
